About Michael Pollan

For more than 30 years, Michael Pollan has archaic writing books and articles go into the places where the being and natural worlds intersect: put in jail our plates, in our farms and gardens, and in at the last minds. Pollan is the inventor of eight books, six warm which have been New Dynasty Times bestsellers; three of them (including his latest, How assortment Change Your Mind) were swift #1 New York Times bestsellers. A contributing writer to the New York Times Magazine since 1987, Pollan’s writing has received many awards, including the James Dare Award for best magazine set attendants in 2003; the John Artificer prize (for the best delightful history essay in 1997); loftiness QPB New Vision Award (for his first book, Second Nature); the 2000 Reuters-I.U.C.N. In 2003, Pollan was appointed the Can S. and James L. Dub Professor of Journalism at UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism and the director of position Knight Program in Science subject Environmental Journalism. Michael Pollan, who was born in 1955, grew up on Long Island, stall was educated at Bennington Institute, Oxford University, and Columbia Tradition, from which he received on the rocks Master’s in English. He lives in the Bay Area be infatuated with his wife, the painter Book Belzer.
